Pundi X Launches Point-of-Sale Machine Supporting Crypto Payments

by November 3, 2022

Blockchain payments company Pundi X has launched XPOS Web 3.0, a point-of-sale machine which supports crypto payments made using third-party blockchain wallets.

XPOS Web 3.0 builds on XPOS, the company’s flagship point-of-sale machine enabling brick-and-mortar retailers to accept crypto payments using QR codes and NFC-enabled cards.

Its key new functionality is its cross-chain capability which allows retailers to accept BTC, ETH, BNB, and USDT crypto payments from third-party wallets.

The upgrade also allows merchants to sell crypto via multiple blockchain networks, including the Bitcoin Lightning Network, Binance Smart Chain, Ethereum, Polygon, and Avalanche.

The announcement, which was made at the Singapore Fintech Festival 2022, also introduced Pundi X’s new hardware wallet card which it developed with semiconductor manufacturer Infineon.
