Description

We are growing and we’re looking for an exceptional talent to come onboard as a Country Manager based in Singapore.

The mission of the Country Manager is to coordinate, grow and lead a high performance team that delivers the outcomes needed to grow our customer base, revenue, breadth of offerings and profitability in your market. You will collaborate closely with the Exco and Group GM to develop in-market vision and plans.

You will also be front-and-center in terms of market evangelism, PR and branding with activities like giving talks to create awareness about MoneySmart and promoting good financial practices among people.

Responsibilities
  • Overall responsibility for growth targets and local P&L management
  • Collaborate with Group GM to develop annual and quarterly plans, budgets and objectives
  • Recruiting, nurturing, and embedding the MoneySmart culture within a cross-functional in-market team spanning account management, marketing, operations and content
  • Exploring and expanding our local business development opportunities (merchants, suppliers, partnerships, and co-marketing promotions)
  • Improving operational effectiveness and coming up with innovative solutions to local problems
  • Running and managing daily operations and delivery cadence in-market
  • Working with group functions to execute local audit, finance and HR processes
  • Coordinating and executing a local strategy across account management, marketing, operations, content and product to:
  • Onboard and deepen the relationship with new partners
  • Grow our customers base and meaningfully engage our users in achieving their financial goals.
  • Secure favorable pricing, exclusives and campaign launches with partners
  • Expand and deepen our merchant/supplier network and better our pricing
  • Elevate our customer experience and improve conversion rates
  • Launch timely campaigns and drive favorable outcomes
Qualifications
  • Prior experience in HOD/Lead roles (across Account management/Sales/BD/Operations/Growth functions), preferably in the eCommerce, retail technology, software industries, or financial services companies
  • 3-5 years experience leading and working across cross functional teams
  • P&L management experience
  • Ability to communicate, present and influence credibly and effectively at all levels of the organization, including executive and C-level
  • Country management experience preferred
  • Knowledge of financial product (banking and insurance) commercial sales cycle preferred
  • Retail financial product (banking and insurance) understanding preferred
  • Understanding of core finance and HR concepts
  • Bilingual (English and relevant market language)
  • Digital Savvy (Experience in digital business)
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent
