We’re looking for a Government Relations Senior Manager to drive strategic partnerships and policy engagement in Thailand. If you have experience in government affairs, regulatory compliance, and tech industry advocacy, this is your chance to make an impact!
- Develop and implement government relations strategies to support Alibaba Cloud's business and regulatory priorities in Thailand.
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with government agencies, regulators, policymakers, and industry associations.
- Monitor, analyze, and influence public policy, regulatory developments, and legislative frameworks impacting cloud computing, cybersecurity, data privacy, and digital transformation.
- Advocate Alibaba Cloud's policy positions and participate in government consultations, industry forums, and public-private dialogues.
- Collaborate with internal business teams, legal, and compliance functions to ensure alignment with regulatory requirements and business needs.
- Engage in thought leadership and stakeholder education, including hosting workshops, white papers, and policy discussions on cloud and digital economy topics.
- Lead crisis management and risk mitigation efforts related to regulatory or political changes affecting Alibaba Cloud's business in Thailand.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Public Policy, Law, Political Science, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 8+ years of experience in government relations, public affairs, regulatory affairs, or a related field within the technology, cloud computing, telecommunications, or digital economy sectors.
- Strong understanding of Thailand's regulatory landscape, public policy process, and key stakeholders in cloud computing, cybersecurity, and data governance.
- Established network within government institutions, regulatory bodies, and industry associations in Thailand.
- Proven experience in advocacy, lobbying, and stakeholder engagement. • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Native in Thai and fluent in English
