Helicap
Helicap is seeking a highly motivated investment professional to join their Private Capital Solutions team. This role focuses on the origination and execution of private debt investment opportunities across Southeast Asia and the broader region, involving travel to key markets where Helicap operates. The successful candidate will also play an active role in the development of our securities trading platform. This position offers significant responsibility, cross-border exposure, and the potential for rapid career progression within a dynamic financing and technology ecosystem.
- Sourcing, evaluation, structuring and execution of credit investment transactions within technology, fintech and lending sectors across Southeast Asia, South Asia and Central Asia.
- Develop and refine investment thesis, deal structures of potential opportunities
- Identify, cultivate and manage relationships with credit investors, including family offices and institutional investors, to facilitate deal syndication
- Preparation & presentation of teasers, investment slide decks, memorandums, data rooms, and financial analysis of private credit opportunities to senior management, investors and business partners
- Lead cross-functional collaboration with legal, financial, and other third parties on deal execution
- Monitor portfolio performance, including risk management of existing investments
- Contribute to the development and management of Helicap’s technology, analytics and investment matching platform
- Participate in business and brand development initiatives
- Education - Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in business or finance-related discipline
- Experience - 3-5 years of working experience in corporate finance, banking or transaction advisory
- Strong interest in the tech and financial sectors and willing to build a strong network
- Excellent communication / presentation and relationship management skills
- Self-motivated, passionate, and a good team leader and player
- Ambitious, entrepreneurial, and enjoys a startup culture
- Open-minded, curious, and willing to learn
- Highly motivated, self-starter with the ability to work in a high-pressure environment
- Highly structured and methodical in execution
- Proficient in financial analysis and Microsoft Excel / PowerPoint
