Marketing Lead, SEA

The Marketing Lead, SEA will be charged with owning marketing metrics for the region, driving growth through a combination of managing a local team as well as leveraging regional and global resources. You’ll be expected to raise the bar for marketing in the region, helping Binance tell our story in a culturally relevant, accurate & consistent way, building trust and reputation in our community as well as those new to blockchain and crypto. This is a South East Asian role and key markets include Vietnam, Indonesia, Myanmar, etc.

  • Own marketing metrics to drive growth in SEA. Be the go-to person for high-level as well as operational insights into markets
  • Management of a team of marketing professionals, guiding the team’s priorities and output
  • Collaborate with regional, global and functional teams on planning and executing campaigns for the SEA market
  • Lead affiliate program design, optimization and management in sub-region
  • Lead social strategy and optimization in SEA, ensuring visibility on creative and content
  • Continuously raise the bar on marketing execution in the region
  • Flag key market & competitor movements to stakeholders and leadership
  • Escalate blockers and challenges to APAC Marketing Director
  • Streamline local workflows to maximize efficiencies
  • Drive quarterly marketing strategy for sub-region, OKRs and accountability tracking
  • Ensure local events are executed to Binance standards and meeting CSAT goals
  • Design and execute integrated campaigns, starting with strategy, brief and working on executing, measuring performance and reporting on effectiveness
  • Lead insight-driven tests/experiments in market, whether on lifecycle, social or paid channels in order to drive growth or engagement
  • A minimum of 10 years of proven success in a similar role
  • Comfortable operating in a dynamic, fast-moving environment often with uncertainty
  • Background in marketing, including large scale integrated campaigns, brand building and team management (remote team management experience a plus)
  • Experience working in SEA/APAC regional roles and familiarity with SEA markets
  • Previous experience in social media management, affiliate programs, events and influencer management a plus
  • Native fluency in both written and verbal English and one Southeast Asian language
  • Effective communicator, able to represent Binance to external stakeholders
  • User-focused, data-driven approach to decision makingAble to conceptualize and manage integrated campaigns, using both in-house resources and agency partners
  • Understanding of social media and paid channels data analytics
  • Entrepreneurial self-starter, high sense of ownership, able to drive agendas and execute with minimal guidance or supervision
  • Additional experience in business development, partnership, government relations, strategy, startup, venture building, management consulting, or actual entrepreneurial experience is a plusBackground or interest in the fintech and crypto space preferred
