Merchant Sales Officer
Description
The successful candidate will play a crucial role in driving our company's growth by significantly increasing BNPL transaction volumes through strategic merchant partnerships. This position offers the opportunity to make a substantial impact in the dynamic fintech industry while developing your sales and business development expertise.
Responsibilities
- Drive sales of our flagship BNPL product, Spean Buy, to meet and exceed transaction volume targets
- Strategically identify, approach, and onboard high-potential merchants to expand our network
- Execute targeted merchant visits as directed by team leadership to achieve acquisition goals
- Provide consultative sales approach, aligning our BNPL solutions with merchant needs to maximize adoption
- Manage end-to-end merchant onboarding, including QR code implementation and comprehensive training
- Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure efficient merchant integration and product setup
- Implement strategic initiatives to optimize merchant satisfaction and service adoption
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Banking, Business, or related field
- Minimum 2 years of proven sales experience, preferably in fintech, financial services or technology sectors
- Demonstrated track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
- Fluency in Khmer, strong written and verbal communication skills
- Solid understanding of banking operations and fintech trends
- Exceptional relationship-building and networking abilities
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to quickly adapt to new systems and technologies
- High level of self-motivation and commitment to continuous improvement
