Description
Financial Services PM team focus on building multiple fintech solutions to meet the needs of both consumers and businesses. We shape the overall product roadmap and see our fintech solutions from end-to-end. We also collaborate closely with other Shopee teams to design solutions.
Responsibilities
- As the product owner, drive the end-to-end product development of Payment products, from ideation, design, technical development, testing and roll out, to post-launch improvements and iterations
- Understand payment regulations in different countries and work with business, technical and compliance teams to build compliant payment products
- Effectively manage stakeholder expectations and project timeline. Develop detailed project plans, track and monitor progress and manage project risks
- Collect data and customer feedback to measure performance of product features, and then to feedback into product development
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or above in computer science, engineering, or related disciplines
- At least 2 years’ experience in payment/ e-wallet product development in Technology, Consulting, Banking, Payment or Fintech related companies
- Understanding the payments processing and solutions; familiarity with Singapore and SouthEast Asia payment landscape is a plus
- Prior experience in at least one of these SWIFT, MEPS+ or ISO 20022 will be an advantage
- Debit/Credit Card payment experience (Virtual/Physical)
- Knowledge in e-wallet and/or third party integration with payment companies is a plus
- Proficient in English, and conversational in Mandarin in order to collaborate with counterparts from China
- Self-driven, positive attitude and team player striving for team success
- Comfortable with ambiguity and changes in a fast-paced environment
