As Sales Director, you'll spearhead audax’s expansion across Southeast Asia—crafting a winning GTM strategy, securing key partnerships with financial institutions, tech giants, and consultants, and engaging regulators. Be the face of audax in the region, lead thought leadership, build a powerhouse team, and drive bold revenue growth.
- Manage the end-to-end sales cycle.
- Collaborate closely with the Head of Commercial to develop and execute a strategic sales plan targeting new business opportunities within the banking sector.
- Identify and engage with key decision-makers and stakeholders at prospective client organizations to understand their challenges and present tailored solutions.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders at target banks to drive sales growth and long-term partnerships.
- Provide strategic guidance and support to cross functional teams - including Marketing, Product Development, and Customer Success - to ensure alignment and enhance customer satisfaction.
- Stay informed on industry trends, competitive landscape, and evolving customers’ needs to craft a creative new bank partnerships strategy.
- Prepare and deliver accurate sales forecasts, performance reports, and progress updates to the executive leadership team.
- Lead presentations and technology workshops for prospective banking clients, including value proposition pitches, system demonstrations, and business case development.
- Collaborate with Sales Engineers, Professional Services, and Marketing teams to ensure seamless execution of sales initiatives.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, or a related field.
- 10+ years of Sales and Partnerships / account management in financial technology/consulting space.
- Proven track record of success in sales, specifically in the banking-as-a-service space.
- Well-established network connections across the banking sector in Southeast Asia.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a bigger team (cross functions) to achieve business goals.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a focus on driving results that are aligned with business strategies and goals.
- Proficiency in presentation skills, CRM software and technical savvy.
- Structured, disciplined, and rigorous practices in customer dealings and internal governance.
- Understanding of banking challenges across technology, regulatory and commercial.
- Tenacity in lead generation and customer follow up.
- Genuine interest in the evolving landscape of finance and technology.
- Consistent track record of achieving targets and goals.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
