Xendit is seeking a Senior Manager Public Policy & Government Relations who embodies their values and represents them in front of regulators & key stakeholders. Public policy and government relations team of Xendit is like a bridge builder; where you connect the company to the resources and decisions that affect its sustainability. This role is crucial as it shapes internal & external regulatory ecosystems that address societal needs, ultimately, building trust and reputation of Xendit in front of regulators and wider stakeholders. You are expected to navigate complex political landscapes and balance diverse stakeholder interests, but the ultimate reward is fostering positive change and improving lives. Delving into this field means championing the voice of the payment system industry too. Your role as a true partner to the organization will involve solving problems across the Company and its subsidiary ranging from business solutioning, licensing and approvals, audit, building and maintaining relationship, while providing meaningful advice to future company's strategic initiative. You'll bring a diverse set of skills, including exceptional communication, tech savviness, strategic thinking, and a willingness to do whatever it takes to succeed. You possess a strong commitment to go the extra mile and handle all aspects of Public Policy & Government Relations, with a positive and determined attitude.

Responsibilities
  • Understand and able to navigate complex regulatory landscape of payment system and other relevant sectors
  • Be the point of contact and face of Xendit in front of regulators
  • Able to address requests, concerns, and questions from regulators in eloquent and confident manner
  • Understand the various business models and provide strategic advice to internal stakeholders
  • Lead key initiatives including but not limited to licensing and approval process to regulators
  • Able to gather information and insights, and get involved in relevant policy discussions
  • Assist other relevant teams to ensure any ongoing projects, initiatives, and/or changes in the business are in accordance with applicable regulation(s)
  • Do whatever it takes to make Xendit succeed.
Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

  • 7+ years of Public Policy & Government Relations experience
  • Min. 2 years of experience in Financial Technology, Banking, or Payment System company
  • Strong analytical and communication skills.
  • Expertise in policy making processes and stakeholder engagement.
  • Proven ability to advocate for policy initiatives effectively.
  • Demonstrated leadership qualities and strategic planning experience.
  • Ability to navigate complex political environments.
  • Master’s degree in Public Policy, Political Science, Law, or a related field is a plus.
