Startup Success Manager, Google Cloud
Description

As a Startup Success Manager, you will help us drive the growth of early stage startups. Your core responsibility is to ensure that new and high-potential startups choose Google as their cloud provider to build and grow their business. You will work alongside fellow team members and stakeholders to lead scaled Go-To-Market business methods to accelerate adoption and drive customer success.
In this role, you will operate independently in an ambiguous environment, prioritize the customer experience, and influence stakeholders for resourcing and support. You are a quick learner who can navigate initial conversations about AI, Machine Learning, and other technologies and can grow in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities
  • Understand startup opportunities, challenges, and communicate effectively on these topics with Founders, C-levels, Board members, etc.
  • Ensure customer engagement and success with early and mid-stage startups in Australia. Lead engagement, and nurture and drive growth of these startups by identifying new cloud workload opportunities.
  • Design and deliver compelling narratives that accelerate adoption of cloud solutions through partnering with Customer Engineers, Product teams, and the extended Business team.
  • Communicate and engage with Founders, C-levels, and Board of Directors of startups.
  • Articulate and refine the Google Cloud message to startups in Australia.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 1 year of experience in IaaS or SaaS sales.

 

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience in sales, customer success, or account management in the Cloud industry.
  • Ability to speak credibly about platform and infrastructure-as-a-service with founders and Chief Technology Officers.
  • Ability to build influential relationships and deliver results in a cross-functional environment.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders internally and externally.
  • Passion for startups and the local startup ecosystem.
