Singapore’s digital bank Trust has launched a new travel insurance product, TravelShiok, in partnership with Income Insurance.
Available exclusively for Trust Bank customers, TravelShiok aims to simplify travel insurance coverage and add extra benefits for users.
TravelShiok offers unique features, including coverage for unused entertainment tickets for theme parks, concerts, or sporting events booked with a Trust card if unforeseen circumstances prevent attendance.
Additional benefits include trip postponements, trip disruptions, loss of travel documents, overseas hospital allowance, and rental vehicle excess cover.
The product also provides up to S$3,000 in purchase protection for accidental damage to items bought with a Trust card within 30 days.
It also offers up to S$8,000 in coverage for loss or damage to baggage, mobile devices, and laptops.
Customers can buy single-trip insurance within a day after leaving Singapore, catering to last-minute needs.
With a two-minute sign-up process, TravelShiok is available entirely within the Trust app, with payment options through any Trust credit card or Trust Savings Account.
Tiffany Teo, Head of Bancassurance, said,
“Customers have told us that the Trust card has become their go-to travel card with its zero foreign exchange rate proposition.
With the holiday season around the corner, there is no better time for us to bring our customers an enhanced travel insurance product that’s easy to apply for, all within the Trust App – even after they’ve left for their trips.”

Aditya Gupta, Chief Product Officer, said,
“We have been rapidly expanding our range of insurance products so that our customers have the best coverage for things which matter to them.
With TravelShiok, they’re able to sign up for an exclusive and comprehensive travel insurance solution leaving them with peace of mind, knowing that they are well-protected while travelling.
