Gprnt, a digital platform for ESG reporting and data developed by MAS, has launched its inaugural Disclosure and Marketplace offerings.
These tools aim to simplify sustainability reporting for businesses and connect them with resources to support their decarbonisation efforts.
The Disclosure tool, which integrates with government databases and private sector solutions, offers a user-friendly, generative AI-powered solution for businesses to measure their Scope 1 and 2 emissions.
This is particularly helpful for SMEs that may lack the resources and expertise to begin sustainability reporting.
Users retain full control over their data and whom to share it with.
While individual use is free, larger organisations can opt for a customised version to collect data from supply chains and assist in Scope 3 reporting.
In addition to the Disclosure tool, Gprnt’s Marketplace acts as a central hub for sustainability solutions.
The platform features an intelligent recommendation engine that personalises connections, matching businesses with relevant providers based on their specific needs and profiles.
The Marketplace includes 78 solutions covering Scope 3 carbon accounting, decarbonisation, energy optimisation, green and sustainability-linked financing, capacity-building, and third-party assurance offerings.
Listing on the Marketplace is currently free of charge for solution providers, enhancing accessibility for a broad range of participants.
This platform connects businesses with relevant providers, simplifying the process of finding and implementing decarbonisation strategies.
It helps SMEs and larger companies navigate sustainability tools more effectively.
Gprnt intends to synchronise its Marketplace listings with other key platforms, such as NetZeroHub.SG, to integrate with existing sustainability initiatives.
This development underscores a joint effort to create accessible and effective solutions for companies navigating their sustainability journeys.
Gprnt expands its network of support through collaborations with Ant International and MUFG Bank, along with new partnerships with GFTN and Microsoft.
The entity is set to embark on multiple partnerships in 2025, starting with pilots involving institutions such as Canadian Solar, DBS, Standard Chartered, and trade associations like the Singapore Manufacturing Federation.
The Singapore Business Federation will support the Singapore Emissions Factors Registry.
Gprnt’s collaboration with the Ministry of Sustainability and the Environment (MSE) aims to assist Statutory Boards in managing their data and publishing their environmental sustainability disclosures, reinforcing its role in supporting governmental sustainability efforts.
The platform will also work with the Singapore Exchange (SGX Group), MAS, and ACRA to develop a climate-related disclosure module to help larger companies meet mandatory requirements.
Looking ahead, Gprnt plans to introduce new features, including an AI-powered sustainability assistant and a portfolio analytics tool, to further support businesses in navigating complex regulatory environments and achieving net-zero goals.
These initiatives highlight Gprnt’s commitment to addressing Asia’s growing demand for sustainability reporting and data capabilities amidst increasingly complex regulatory landscapes.
“Gprnt’s suite of solutions will provide businesses with digital infrastructure to access and report verifiable ESG data in a streamlined manner, strengthening their climate risk management and net-zero efforts.
The value proposition of these solutions will become increasingly compelling as Gprnt scales regionally to support the broader transition across Asia.”
said Ravi Menon, Chairman of the GFTN Board of Directors and Singapore’s Ambassador for Climate Action.
“Gprnt’s suite of solutions and tools will play a significant role in simplifying the management and reporting of sustainability data, enabling organisations to focus on developing impactful sustainability strategies.
We look forward to continuing and strengthening our collaboration with Gprnt to facilitate agencies’ efforts to manage their resource use as well as exploring other synergies.”
said Lim Tuang Liang, Government Chief Sustainability Officer, MSE.
