FIS and Episode Six, a payments and banking infrastructure provider, have partnered to launch the FIS International Issuing Hub.
This is a fully cloud-native platform aimed at helping financial institutions, fintech firms, and brands modernise their payments infrastructure.
The announcement was made at the Money20/20 conference in London on 3 June.
The new hub combines FIS’ global reach with Episode Six’s issuer processing technology to support the launch of credit, debit, prepaid, and virtual card products tailored to both local and international markets.
The platform is built with modular, API-first architecture, allowing institutions to scale across currencies and regulatory environments without the need for a full systems migration.
This approach is intended to provide more flexibility while minimising disruption to existing operations.
Designed with current market conditions in mind, the platform addresses growing demands for seamless digital experiences, increased competitive pressure, and the need to navigate complex regulatory environments.
It is especially targeted at large global banks, fintech companies, and consumer-facing brands looking to accelerate product development and enhance operational agility.

“We’re excited to partner with FIS to deliver a solution that brings unmatched scalability and flexibility to the market.
FIS International Issuing Hub sets a new standard in payments, empowering companies to thrive in a rapidly evolving digital economy. FIS International Issuing Hub gives our clients the power to scale, innovate, and excel.”
said John Mitchell, CEO and Co-Founder of Episode Six.
