Microsoft has named Chia Wee Luen as its new Managing Director for Singapore to drive the company’s digital transformation efforts in the country.
He succeeds Lee Hui Li, who the company said helped lay a strong foundation for its continued growth in the country.
Wee Luen has over 20 years of experience in enterprise technology and has held senior roles at Red Hat, Qlik and Oracle.
Most recently, he was Managing Director for Asia at ServiceNow.
He began his career in Singapore’s public sector and also serves on the Digital & Technology Committee of the Children’s Cancer Foundation and chairs the Tech for Good Committee of the Singapore Computer Society.
In his new role, Wee Luen and his leadership team will work to advance Singapore’s digital ambitions through cloud and artificial intelligence, accelerating innovation and supporting inclusive transformation.

Microsoft ASEAN President Mayank Wadhwa said,
“Singapore is a cornerstone for Microsoft in Southeast Asia, fuelling innovation, deepening regional collaboration, and accelerating customer success.
Under Wee Luen’s leadership, we will empower our customers to harness the full power of technology to drive meaningful impact and unlock the region’s extraordinary potential.”

Wee Luen said,
