GFTN Capital, a growth-equity venture firm under the Global Finance & Technology Network (GFTN), has today announced a strategic alliance with Accion, a global nonprofit focused on supporting innovative financial service providers.
The GFTN Capital and Accion partnership aims to mobilise capital for digital finance and inclusive fintech companies that serve financially underserved communities.
GFTN Capital and Accion will bring industry stakeholders together to advance solutions for emerging opportunities in inclusive finance.
Headquartered in Singapore, GFTN Capital deploys GFTN’s ecosystem of innovators, entrepreneurs, policymakers, and investors spanning over 130 countries.
The firm intends to provide investors with early access to emerging, high-growth fintech companies. It will support its portfolio companies with capital, market insights, and connections to an established network of industry stakeholders worldwide. Neil Parekh, Deputy Chairman of GFTN, added,

Sopnendu Mohanty, Group CEO of GFTN, said that this partnership would represent how GFTN Capital will bridge global investors and innovators to drive finance with purpose.
GFTN and the Centre for Financial Inclusion, a think tank housed at Accion, also plan to co-host the 2026 Responsible Finance Forum in Singapore. The forum aims to advance dialogue and create practical frameworks for responsible innovation and digital inclusion.
