The Global Finance & Technology Network (GFTN) announced the beta launch of ALFIN, an AI research intelligence platform for the financial industry, at the Singapore Fintech Festival 2025.
ALFIN is designed to provide trusted and explainable AI applications for finance, reflecting the sector’s increasing focus on reliable, verifiable systems.
ALFIN integrates three verified data layers: GFTN’s proprietary insights from global innovators, investors, and regulators; publicly available financial and regulatory data; and user-referenced inputs for real-world context.
This combination delivers verifiable, explainable intelligence in a matter of seconds.

“The current financial ecosystem is inundated with vast amounts of data but struggles with organising intelligence, distinguishing meaningful signals from noise, and providing policymakers with real-time, contextual insights that link innovation to regulation,”
said Sopnendu Mohanty, Group Chief Executive Officer of GFTN.
“ALFIN is designed to analyse information and enhance decision-making by merging human expertise with machine intelligence to meet the dynamic demands of global finance. ALFIN empowers every financial stakeholder to transition from raw information to clear insights, and from insights to well-informed, data-driven actions.”
ALFIN is intended for financial institutions, analysts, and policymakers.
It converts complex market data into actionable intelligence, supporting strategy and risk teams in investment and compliance decisions, offering fintech leaders competitive and regulatory insights, and enabling policymakers to track innovation and benchmark financial systems worldwide.
ALFIN draws on a decade of research and insight from GFTN’s global FinTech forums across Asia, Africa, and Europe.
It consolidates knowledge from policymakers, innovators, and investors who have influenced the digital finance landscape, providing a structured system for searching, interpreting, and applying financial data.
ALFIN will be made available in early 2026 as part of GFTN’s digital platform offerings.
