LianLian Global, the cross-border fintech platform of Lianlian DigiTech, presented its payment solutions at the Singapore Fintech Festival 2025.
At its booth, LianLian Global showcased the LianLian Global Payout Service (LGPS), which allowed cross-border payment service providers, banks, and other licensed financial institutions to deliver payments to China and other global destinations through a single API.
The service aimed to provide transparency, security, efficiency, and traceability.
Singapore had become a key hub for Lianlian DigiTech’s Southeast Asian operations.
The company established its Singapore entity in 2018 as a regional base for expanding into Thailand, Indonesia, and Vietnam.
In September 2021, the Singapore subsidiary STARLINK obtained a Major Payment Institution licence from the Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS).
In Thailand, LianLian secured two licences from the Bank of Thailand in 2019 covering card-payment services and acquiring, payment-facilitation, and receipt-of-funds-on-behalf services.
LianLian Thailand subsequently developed local payment infrastructure integrating domestic card schemes, banking channels, e-wallets, and international wallets, supporting in-store merchant acquiring, online store/app acquiring, and disbursement services.
In Vietnam, LianLian Global launched a collection service in September 2021 in partnership with local financial institutions to provide cross-border collection services for e-commerce sellers.
In September 2022, it introduced a payment acceptance service for Vietnamese merchants, integrating international card-payment acceptance with local payment channels.
