Igloo has acquired Eazy Digital, a Singapore-headquartered insurtech startup with operations in Thailand and across Asia.
The deal brings Eazy Digital’s client base and Thailand team into Igloo to strengthen its technology stack for insurers and intermediaries.
Eazy Digital founder Harprem Doowa will become the Country Head of Igloo Thailand and Head of Tech Solutions for Asia Pacific.
The acquisition marks Igloo’s second major transaction in Thailand within 12 months.
It follows a 2025 joint venture with JMT Network Services, a subsidiary of the Jaymart Group, to launch a digital insurer in the market.
Scaling digital insurance infrastructure
Igloo has facilitated over 1.6 billion policies to date and processes over 100 million policies each month. This is done through partnerships with more than 100 commercial and insurer partners, including Chubb and MSIG.
The insurtech firm has raised over US$100 million. These funds support the rollout of its AI operating system to insurers and platforms across the region.
Eazy Digital provides a unified digital platform that helps insurers and brokers digitise agent management, streamline operations, and improve sales productivity.
This technology complements Igloo Tech Solutions, which offers software covering the full insurance value chain.
Addressing the protection gap
Thailand’s insurance sector is currently entering a period of reform. The fifth Insurance Development Plan for 2026 to 2030 positions insurance as a pillar of national economic resilience.
While closing the country’s persistent protection gap requires reaching underserved populations with affordable products quickly, most Thai insurers and intermediaries still rely on legacy systems.
These systems are used for distribution, product configuration, and claims processing and can take three to six months to launch a single product.
Igloo Tech Solutions aims to reduce these launch cycles to a matter of days. The platform uses AI to automate product configuration, underwriting rules, and claims adjudication.
Its distribution modules also enable insurers to expand their reach without building new technology.

“Thailand is one of Southeast Asia’s most dynamic insurance markets, and we have been deliberate about building a meaningful footprint here,”
said Raunak Mehta, Co-Founder and CEO, Igloo.
Mehta noted that acquiring Eazy Digital provides partners across Asia with immediate access to the full Igloo stack. It also adds the local presence required to serve the market at scale.

“This is an opportunity for Eazy to take our platform’s success and amplify it with the resources, technology, and reach of one of Southeast Asia’s largest insurtechs,”
said Harprem Doowa, Country Head of Thailand and Head of Tech Solutions APAC, Igloo.
