David Hardoon has joined Accenture to lead its advanced AI work in Southeast Asia, according to a LinkedIn post.
He has been appointed Managing Director and Head of Advanced AI for Southeast Asia.
In his new role at Accenture, he will lead the firm’s Advanced AI practice in Southeast Asia, with a focus on areas such as generative AI, agentic AI and responsible AI.
Hardoon joins Accenture after a short stint at Standard Chartered, where he served as Global Head of AI Enablement for just over a year.
His role at the bank covered AI strategy, governance and adoption across business lines.
Hardoon has also held senior data and AI roles at UnionBank of the Philippines, Aboitiz Data Innovation and the Monetary Authority of Singapore.
His wider experience spans banking, consulting, regulation, academia and startups.
He has held roles with Singapore Management University, University College London, the National University of Singapore and Singapore University of Social Sciences.
