Fortinet has appointed Luca Simonelli as Senior Vice President to lead its Asia Pacific sales organisation, covering Japan, North Asia and South Asia.
Based in Singapore, Simonelli will oversee markets including Southeast Asia, India and SAARC, Australia and New Zealand.
His role will focus on regional strategy, customer and partner relationships, and business growth.
Simonelli has more than 30 years of experience in technology, including cybersecurity, networking, SASE, cloud security and managed services.
He most recently held a senior leadership role at GCX Managed Services.
He has also worked across Europe, the Middle East, Africa and Asia Pacific, including nearly eight years at Fortinet, where he previously led the company’s EMEA business.
Simonelli said,
