M-DAQ Global has expanded into Vietnam through METech, adding local payment infrastructure to support cross-border collections and payouts.
The strategic integration is with METech, the majority shareholder of PayME, a licensed payments service provider in Vietnam.
The deal gives the Singapore-based fintech group direct access to regulated payment infrastructure in Vietnam, allowing it to process collections and payouts in Vietnamese dong.
M-DAQ expects this to reduce reliance on third-party partners and support faster payment flows for businesses operating in and out of Vietnam.
The move supports M-DAQ’s plan to build a regional payments network covering collections, foreign exchange conversion and payouts across ASEAN.
METech brings local regulatory knowledge, technical capabilities and banking relationships in Vietnam.
M-DAQ will combine these with its regional infrastructure to support cross-border payment corridors in Southeast Asia.
The expansion follows M-DAQ’s earlier moves through EasyPay in Malaysia and Wallex in Indonesia.
With METech joining the group, M-DAQ now holds five regulated licences across four ASEAN markets.

Tan Choon Seng, Group CEO of M-DAQ Global, said,
“Vietnam is one of ASEAN’s most dynamic growth markets and a key pillar for the region’s digital transformation.
We are proud to mark M-DAQ’s first direct presence in the country through this integration, advancing our ASEAN-focused strategy.”
