DBS has restored its PayLah! mobile payment service after a disruption affected some customers on the evening of 23 July 2026.
The bank said the mobile wallet returned to normal at 1.38am on 24 July.
Any transfer or payment amounts affected by the disruption would be credited back to customers’ PayLah! wallets.
DBS first acknowledged the issue at 9.08pm on 23 July and began working to recover the service.
Customers were directed to alternative banking and payment channels, including Scan & Pay and fund transfers through the DBS/POSB digibank mobile app.
They could also use their DBS/POSB credit or debit cards.
A further update at 10.35pm confirmed that recovery efforts were ongoing.
The incident was the second publicly reported disruption involving DBS digital services this year.
On 19 March, some customers experienced difficulties accessing DBS/POSB digibank mobile and online services, as well as PayLah!.
All affected services returned to normal at 1.19pm that day.
