Leaders from UOB, Temasek, Enterprise Singapore and the Economic Development Board (EDB) have joined the Singapore Fintech Association’s (SFA) advisory council.
The four members will serve a two-year term from 1 August 2026 to 31 July 2028.
They are Pee Beng Kong, EVP at EDB; Wong Zeng Yi, Assistant MD at Enterprise Singapore; Pradyumna Agrawal, MD of Investment at Temasek; and Lee Zhu Kuang, MD and Group Head of UOB’s Innovation Group.
SFA formed the Strategic Advisory Council in 2024 to provide guidance on trends, opportunities and national priorities affecting fintech and financial services in Singapore and the region.
It also helps the association work more closely with industry players, government agencies and regulators.
The incoming members will advise SFA on areas such as payments, lending, fintech infrastructure, regulatory technology, investment management and blockchain.
They will also help identify industry trends, emerging issues and opportunities for growth and innovation.
They replace Ong Chen Hui, Assistant Chief Executive at IMDA; Soh Leng Wan, formerly Assistant MD at Enterprise Singapore; Neil Parekh, a former partner at Tikehau Capital and former Nominated Member of Parliament; and Sanjoy Sen, MD and Group Head of DBS’ Consumer Banking Group.
Alvin Tan will remain SFA’s patron. He is Minister of State for Foreign Affairs and National Development and a board member of the Monetary Authority of Singapore.
UOB’s Lee Zhu Kuang also recently joined our Singapore AI CxO Roundtable to discuss how banks are navigating AI.
