TMBThanachart Bank (ttb) and DBS Bank have partnered to expand wealth management services for retail investors in Thailand.
Under the first phase, eligible clients of DBS Vickers Securities Thailand (DBSVT) will be invited to transfer their Thai baht-denominated holdings to ttb wealth securities, ttb’s wealth management subsidiary.
These may include securities, derivatives, cash and other assets.
The transfer requires client consent and is subject to applicable regulatory requirements. It is expected to be completed by May 2027.
DBSVT will begin contacting eligible clients from 31 August 2026 with details of the transfer.
Those who agree will retain uninterrupted access to Thai baht investment products and receive advisory services from ttb wealth securities.
DBS will continue serving private wealth clients in Thailand through its existing private banking offering for non-Thai baht-denominated portfolios.
DBSVT’s Equity Institutional Sales business will also continue operating as usual.

Piti Tantakasem, Chief Executive Officer of ttb, said,
“We believe sustainable wealth management is not simply about selecting the investment product with the highest return.
Rather, it begins with a deep understanding of each customer’s life goals, supported by tailored financial and investment solutions, well-structured portfolios, and trusted advisory that align with their unique aspirations.”
The banks are also exploring a further phase that could give ttb customers access to selected global investment products and solutions from DBS’ regional platform. They did not disclose a timeline.

Shee Tse Koon, Group Head of Consumer Banking & Wealth Management, DBS Bank, said,
“DBS and ttb share a common goal: to help people invest and insure better so they can grow their wealth.
We have seen in Singapore how a holistic approach to financial planning, supported by digital capabilities and personalised advice, can help customers make better financial decisions and progress towards their long-term goals.”
