Vietnamese E-Wallet Smart Pay Strengthens Security with Level 2 PCI-DSSby Company Announcement October 17, 2019
On the 27th September 2019 SmartPay is officially qualified for Level 2 of PCI DSS (Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard) by Crossbow Labs.
Since its launch, SmartPay has committed to maintaining rigorous data security standards to ensure that their customers’ card information remains safe and secure.
After a careful process of inspection and evaluation, Crossbow Labs, the internationally qualified security assessor, issued an official certificate of Level 2 PCI DSS for SmartPay wallet.
Administered by the Payment Card Industry Security Standards Council (originally formed by American Express, Discover Financial Services, JCB International, MasterCard and Visa), PCI DSS is a globally applicable information security standard formed to ensure that all organizations that accept, process, store or transmit card information maintain a secure environment.
SmartPay is an e-wallet developed by SmartNet Ltd. to help users and merchants conduct their transactions online anytime and anywhere.
SmartPay wallet supports utility bill payments (water, electricity, Internet, TV) and other service providers in payment, and also provides advertisement of job vacancies from third parties.
Since its launch in May 2019 SmartPay actively promotes cashless payments among different categories of customers, including individuals and micro merchants.
The SmartPay app is currently available for both Android and iOS operating systems on AppStore and GooglePlay.
