SCB Securities (SCBS) announced this week that they have jointly launched a robo-advisor on its Easy Invest app. Jointly developed with SCB 10X, the service features automatic mutual fund portfolio design and management using AI. Requiring only a 3,000-baht initial investment, SCBS expects to gain 100,000 new accounts through this new digital platform by 2020.
SCBS Chief Executive Officer Mr. Kampol Jantavibool noted that technology has increasingly played an important role in simplifying investments, and that the bank is committed to developing its investments services to help the bank’s clients achieve their financial goals.
“In this digital platform era, we believe that all customers should have access to professional investment portfolio management from both specialists and AI. The ROBO ADVISOR has been designed to eliminate the limitations of portfolio investment service, such as the requirement to invest a large amount in order to get advisory or portfolio management services.
They added that customers can now open an account via their SCB Easy app.
