Microsoft and Bukalapak, an Indonesian e-commerce platform, have formed a strategic partnership where the latter will adopt Microsoft Azure as its preferred cloud platform. Microsoft will also make a strategic investment in Bukalapak.

Through this partnership, Bukalapak will adopt Microsoft Azure as its preferred cloud platform to support its more than 6 million online merchants, 6 million offline merchants, and 100 million customers.
Another key initiative by Bukalapak and Microsoft will be to bridge the digital gap where they will explore opportunities to help make the digital world relevant for individuals on a daily basis.
The partnership will also look to provide digital skills training for Bukalapak employees and their merchants.
