Former UOB Exec Pauline Sim Joins Sleek’s Management Team

Pauline Sim, former United Overseas Bank’s (UOB) Senior Vice President, has joined Singaporean fintech startup Sleek as its new Head of Fintech and Strategic Partnerships.

In her new role, Sim will oversee the development of financial services and digital solutions at Sleek. Through its AI-driven customer platform and automations, Sim will be leading the company’s new business verticals expansion projects.

Sim started her banking career serving the Small and Medium Enterprises (SME) segment, covering all aspects of banking and financing requirements that SMEs have in UOB and Standard Chartered Bank.

In 2015, she was part of the team that set up The FinLab, a joint venture between UOB and SGInnovate, to accelerate fintech startups from all over the world, and subsequently helping SMEs to digitalise, innovate with adoption of innovative tech solutions.

Sim was also elected into the executive committee of Singapore Fintech Association (SFA) in 2018-2019 and served as the Lead for Women in Fintech subcommittee during that time. Through this role, she successfully showcased the expertise and experience of female fintech founders in the industry.
