BNB Chain and Google Cloud have formed a partnership to provide early stage Web3 and blockchain projects with foundational infrastructure, cloud computing credits, mentorship, and enhanced technical support.
BNB Chain, a combination of BNB Beacon Chain and BNB Smart Chain, has over 1,300 active decentralised applications (dApps) in its ecosystem and claims to be the largest smart contract blockchain in terms of transaction volume and users in Web3.
Startups leveraging BNB Chain’s infrastructure can now build on Google Cloud’s cloud infrastructure and use its services for on-demand analysis of on-chain data and data encryption while it is being processed in real-time.
BNB Chain will also facilitate accelerated access to the Google for Startups Cloud Program for eligible Web3 builders in its ecosystem, including those under Binance’s Most Valuable Builder accelerator.
The Google for Startups Cloud Program provides Google Cloud credits each year for up to two years, and helps eligible early-stage startups to establish and grow their businesses.
Gwendolyn Regina, Investment Director, BNB Chain, said:
“By collaborating with Google Cloud, we can help Web3 builders access open, secure, and carbon neutral cloud infrastructure that’s needed to strengthen and scale their businesses.”
James Tromans, Director of Web3, Google Cloud, said:
“We look forward to collaborating with BNB Chain to provide Web3 builders with the cleanest cloud infrastructure on which to develop and scale their applications.”
Separately, Google Cloud announced last week that it will collaborate with Vietnam’s Sky Mavis, the creator of non-fungible token (NFT) ecosystem Axie Infinity, to bolster the security of its blockchain network Ronin.
