Bryan Carroll Steps Down as CEO of Vietnamese Digibank TNEX

Vietnamese digital bank TNEX‘s CEO Bryan Carroll announced that he will be stepping down from his position and will stay on as a board member in a LinkedIn post.

Carroll was one of TNEX’s co-founders in 2019 which is a digital bank spinoff from the Maritime Commercial Joint Stock Bank (MSB), one of Vietnam’s leading commercial banks.

He spearheaded the digital bank’s growth which now has over 1.6 million users through partnerships with Mambu, Amazon Web Services (AWS), TopeBox, TechX, and iConnect.

Bryan said,

“I have made the very difficult decision to step down as CEO of TNEX at the end of the month and to move to the Board. I would like to express my sincere gratitude for the support that my family, my amazing team, Chairman, Board of Directors, investors, partners and customers have given me during this time.

I came to Vietnam in 2019 literally with a suitcase and an idea to found TNEX, the country’s 1st digital bank. TNEX now serves over 1.6 million customers and is recognised as one of the most innovative and technologically advanced platforms in Asia.”
