Nick Wilde, the Managing Director of APAC for Thought Machine, has announced his departure from the company to return to Australia after a notable 17-year career abroad.
During Wilde’s five-year tenure at Thought Machine, he was instrumental in the growth of Vault Core, the company’s flagship core banking platform. Vault is an API enabled, cloud-native alternative to the legacy platforms commonly found in the banking industry.
Under Wilde’s leadership, Thought Machine expanded its presence across the APAC region, securing over 20 clients in 10 of its target countries despite the challenges of transforming legacy banking systems.
Prior to joining Thought Machine, Wilde held notable positions at Experian as Managing Director for Japan and as Chief Sales Officer, International Group at Fiserv.
Wilde said in a LinkedIn post,
“My sincere thanks to those who trusted us and gave us the opportunity to prove our capabilities and for the partnership approach all have shown. Very proud of our team but you are all rocking serious talent as well.
To the partners who have helped both us and our customers, also my sincere thanks. We could not have achieved half of what we did without you and some deep friendships formed through this process.”
Among Thought Machine’s clients are global tier 1 banks including Standard Chartered, Lloyds Banking Group, Al Rajhi Bank (Malaysia) and Intesa Sanpaolo as well as challenger banks and fintechs, such as Nikel, C6 Bank and Atom bank.
Thought Machine has regional headquarters in London, New York, and Singapore while operating as a registered entity in India.
