Financial product comparison platform MoneyHero has announced additions to its senior management team, appointing Hao Qian as Chief Financial Officer, Liru Chan as Group Head of Marketing, and Francois Picard as Group Head of Operations.
Effective immediately, Hao Qian will oversee MoneyHero’s financial systems, including accounting, capital markets, compliance, and investor relations.
He will also lead strategic finance initiatives such as mergers and acquisitions and commercial partnerships.
Qian brings over 17 years of financial and leadership experience, having previously held senior finance positions at Alibaba Group and Amazon.
Qian said,

The business model and plans for expansion are sound, and I am bullish on how we can scale and optimise the company’s financial systems to better support MoneyHero’s continued growth and market leadership.”
Ivan Ho, who served as interim CFO, will return to his role as Group Finance Director, working closely with Qian.
Additionally, Liru Chan and Francois Picard have joined the team effective 6 May 2024.
In her new role, Liru Chan will oversee consumer marketing and brand development across MoneyHero’s portfolio.
She brings experience from Google (APAC), where she was the Head of Growth for Owned User Experience. Her background also includes senior positions at Visa, PayPal, and Edelman.
Francois Picard will be responsible for enhancing the company’s operations to support its growth as a public company.
He previously served as Vice President of Operations at ShopBack, where he managed operational systems and customer service for 11 markets.
Picard also held senior roles at Honestbee and Schneider Electric.
