Khoo will transition to a new role as Senior Advisor to UOB Vietnam.
Meanwhile, Lawrence Goh will take over Hwee’s previous position as Head of Group Technology and Operations (GTO).

In his new position, Goh will continue to lead UOB’s technological innovation and operational efficiency.
Eddie Khoo, who joined UOB in 2005, has significantly expanded UOB’s retail banking business.
In his upcoming role as Senior Advisor to UOB Vietnam, Khoo will support the bank’s strategy in this high-potential market, aiding the integration of Citigroup’s Consumer Banking businesses in the region.
With the integration of Citigroup’s Consumer Banking businesses now complete in Indonesia, Malaysia, and Thailand, UOB is making significant progress in Vietnam, with plans to finalise the integration by 2025.
