Tazapay plans to hire more than 150 people in Bengaluru after opening its largest office in India.
The payments company aims to reach that headcount over the next 18 months, making Bengaluru one of its main global hubs alongside its engineering base in Chennai.
The facility serves as a centre of excellence for engineering, product and treasury operations.
Staff will work across the cross-border payment process, including routing, compliance, funding, settlement and reconciliation.
Tazapay said the Bengaluru hub will also support its work involving stablecoins, artificial intelligence and autonomous agents.
Peak XV Partners Managing Director Rajan Anandan attended the opening with Tazapay co-founders Rahul Shinghal and Kanupriya Sharda.
