TRM Labs has doubled its valuation to US$2 billion after extending its Series C funding round just seven months after the initial raise.
Blockchain Capital, which led the earlier round in February 2026, also led the latest investment. TRM Labs did not disclose the amount raised.
The February round raised US$70 million and gave TRM Labs unicorn status at a US$1 billion valuation.
Following the investment, TRM Labs will continue developing its AI investigation capabilities.
It is also recruiting AI researchers, data scientists, engineers and domain experts.

“Today’s crimefighters are tasked with finding a needle in a haystack. Only, the haystack is enormous, with petabytes of data that today live in disparate systems.
At TRM, we’re building the tools investigators need to operate at AI-scale and fight back against the world’s most complex criminal networks, without compromising on evidentiary standards. If you’re mission-driven, and are looking to build the future of crimefighting, join us.”
said Esteban Castaño, CEO and co-founder of TRM Labs.
The blockchain intelligence company reported that its annual recurring revenue has quadrupled over the past three years.
More than 600 government agencies and private sector institutions across 75 countries currently use its platform.
TRM Labs provides AI-powered tools that help investigators analyse fragmented information linked to fraud, scams, cybercrime, child exploitation, money laundering, sanctions evasion and other offences.
Its platform brings together information across more than 100 threat categories to help investigators alert potential targets, freeze illicit funds and disrupt criminal networks.
The investment comes as criminals increasingly use artificial intelligence (AI) to carry out digital fraud and other crimes.
TRM Labs reported a 40% year-on-year rise in criminals’ adoption of AI in 2026, based on its AI-in-Crime Adoption Index.
