DBS has appointed Blackstone Singapore Chairman Gautam Banerjee to its group and bank boards effective 1 October 2026.

Banerjee also holds the role of Senior Managing Director at Blackstone Singapore and serves on the boards of Singapore Telecommunications and GIC Private Limited.
He previously spent more than 30 years at PricewaterhouseCoopers, including nine years as Executive Chairman of PwC Singapore before retiring in December 2012.
His past appointments include directorships at Singapore Airlines, Piramal Enterprises and the Defence Science and Technology Agency.
He also chaired the Singapore Centre for Social Enterprise.

DBS Chairman Peter Seah said,
“Gautam brings extensive experience advising businesses and serving on major boards. Over the course of his career, he has developed deep expertise in governance, risk oversight and long-term value creation.
His perspectives will further strengthen the board as DBS continues to navigate an increasingly complex operating environment and deliver sustainable growth.”
