Visa and the Singapore Tourism Board (STB) have signed a three-year MoU to promote high-value tourism, with Visa Destinations set to launch in Singapore in November 2026.
Singapore will be the programme’s second Asia Pacific market after Thailand, which introduced it in July.
The partnership covers three areas: developing tourism experiences, using spending insights to identify high-value visitors, and running joint marketing campaigns.
Visa cardholder benefits across attractions and nightlife
Visa and STB will introduce cardholder benefits across attractions, dining, entertainment, retail and tours, building on existing partnerships with Pelago by Singapore Airlines and Grab.
Repeat visitors spend approximately four times more than first-time visitors.
During the 2026 Singapore Grand Prix race week, restaurant and entertainment spending increased by around two-thirds.
Spending between 7pm and 11pm rose by almost half, while spending between 11pm and 5am nearly doubled.
Payment data to guide tourism campaigns
Visa identified Australia, Indonesia, Mainland China, Malaysia and the United States among Singapore’s largest inbound travel markets for its cardholders.
Both organisations will use market insights to identify high-value tourism opportunities and develop campaigns under Visa Destinations and STB’s Passion Made Possible brand.

“Our partnership with the Singapore Tourism Board is about converting that appeal into deeper engagement,”
said Adeline Kim, Group Country Manager, Regional Southeast Asia, and SVP, Global Clients, Asia Pacific at Visa.

“Through this collaboration, we aim to create more opportunities for our tourism businesses and advance STB’s Tourism 2040 priorities through impactful, high-quality tourism growth,”
said Melissa Ow, Chief Executive, Singapore Tourism Board.
The partnership will also support STB’s Tourism 2040 priorities.
