DCS Card Centre has launched its first Visa credit card, the FLEX Card, designed for young professionals aged 21 to 35.
According to DCS, it’s the first entry-level credit card in Singapore that lets users choose between rewards like miles, cash rebates, or investment credits.
Cardholders can earn up to 2.4 miles per dollar spent, receive up to 8% cash rebates, or earn up to 8% in investment credits, credited to an iFast account.
The ability to switch between rewards will be available soon.
Users can track and manage their rewards via the DCS Cards App, which includes a feature to track spending categories and maximise their earnings across different reward options.
FLEX also allows for flexible repayments, converting retail transactions into interest-free installments with a 3% processing fee.
The card offers four designs, including two eco-friendly limited-edition options from a collaboration with NFT company Theirsverse.
Each of the limited-edition designs is capped at 1,000 pieces.
It also features D-Vault, a virtual account for top-ups using digital assets or bank transfers.
FLEX provides complimentary travel insurance, with up to S$1 million in personal accident protection, S$250,000 in flight insurance, and coverage for travel inconveniences when the full airfare is charged to the card.
This new product follows DCS’s recent expansion efforts, including the addition of Visa as a payment option in 2023.

“The FLEX Card is designed with today’s young professionals in mind, blending freedom and flexibility with a focus on holistic financial wellness. Many at this stage of their lives are not only saving but also looking to invest early to build wealth.
In partnership with Visa, we are delighted to offer them a solution that provides a diversity of options in saving, spending, and investing, reflecting a shift towards a financially empowered present,”
said Lionel Lee, Managing Director of Consumer Cards at DCS Card Centre.

“Based on our Gen Z Decoded Study research, we found that one in five Gen Z consumers look for customisable rewards programmes as the most important criteria when they apply for their main credit card, showcasing the need for a product that empowers consumers with personalisation and flexibility.
We are committed to working with our valued partners to create innovative products and solutions that enhance the financial well-being for the next generation in Singapore,”
said Adeline Kim, Visa Country Manager for Singapore & Brunei.
