Sumsub, a global full-cycle verification platform, has launched a new suite of products aimed at streamlining online identity verification and reducing repetitive Know Your Customer (KYC) checks.
The Reusable Digital Identity suite includes two offerings—Sumsub ID and Reusable KYC—designed to help users and businesses save time and improve onboarding efficiency.
The tools allow users to securely store and reuse their verified identity documents across more than 4,000 platforms within Sumsub’s client ecosystem.
This addresses the common issue of users needing to verify their identities multiple times across services, especially when accessing critical sectors such as finance or transportation.
According to Sumsub, which processes millions of identity checks weekly, one in three applicants has previously completed verification through its platform—highlighting the widespread nature of redundant KYC processes.
Sumsub ID enables individuals to manage their own verified documents for reuse across various services, while Reusable KYC allows companies within the network to share verification data with explicit user consent.
Both products are fully GDPR-compliant and aim to enhance fraud prevention while ensuring regulatory adherence.
The company reports that the new tools can reduce onboarding time by up to 50% and increase conversion rates by around 30%.
By eliminating the need for repeated uploads and form-filling, Sumsub hopes to deliver a faster, more seamless onboarding experience for users and better retention for businesses.
The suite is available across sectors such as crypto, fintech, banking, e-commerce, and transportation.

“With a decade of experience in the market, our vision remains clear – to provide global businesses digital identity checks with the speed and convenience of payments, without sacrificing on compliance and security.
With Sumsub ID and Reusable KYC, we are redefining digital ID verification by helping businesses improve onboarding efficiency and also giving users full control over their documents and data, respectively. This marks a significant milestone in our mission to make identity verification faster, safer, and more reliable for everyone.”
