Vietcombank has begun implementing a suite of Salesforce solutions to support its digital transformation, aiming to streamline operations and improve customer engagement across its retail and corporate banking services.
The Vietnamese lender is deploying Salesforce’s Financial Services Cloud, CRM Analytics, Marketing Cloud, and MuleSoft as part of its efforts to consolidate banking functions onto a single platform.
The implementation is supported by PwC, Gimasys, and CMC TS.
By integrating these technologies, Vietcombank aims to improve operational efficiency and provide its relationship managers across the bank with a unified view of customer data.
The bank said the platform will help enhance service quality and allow its teams to respond more effectively to customer needs.
The initiative is also intended to modernise Vietcombank’s digital infrastructure by eliminating siloed data and manual processes.
The Salesforce tools will also support Vietcombank’s marketing initiatives by enabling targeted campaigns, lead management, and the use of AI-driven insights—including propensity models and next-best-product recommendations—to identify cross-selling and upselling opportunities.
Relationship managers will have access to mobile tools that offer real-time data, helping them stay connected with clients and close deals while on the move.

Nguyen Thi Kim Oanh, Member of the Board of Directors and Head of the Project Implementation Committee, Vietcombank, said,
“This CRM initiative is more than just a technology project for Vietcombank. It’s integral to our strategic transformation in how we approach customers, improving management and sales efficiency bank-wide.
With the support of the Board of Directors, the Executive Board, our branches, and our trusted partners Salesforce, Gimasys, PwC, and CMC-TS, we are confident in a professional, effective, and timely implementation that will significantly differentiate Vietcombank in serving customer needs.”

Sujith Abraham, Senior Vice President and General Manager, ASEAN at Salesforce, said,
“This collaboration signifies a shared vision for the future of banking shaped by data-driven strategies where technology serves as the catalyst for enhanced customer relationships.
Salesforce’s trusted platform is purpose-built to help financial institutions like Vietcombank better serve their customers, boost operational agility, and lead in today’s fast-evolving market,”
