Crypto exchange Coinbase has launched Coinbase Business in Singapore, its first international expansion outside the United States.
The all-in-one financial platform provides startups and small to medium-sized businesses with a secure, compliant crypto operating account to manage global payments and digital assets.
The platform supports crypto trading, instant payment settlement, and lower transaction fees using stablecoins such as USDC and XSGD while helping eliminate chargebacks.
It operates in partnership with Standard Chartered, leveraging a strategic banking relationship to enable seamless, real-time Singapore dollar transfers for retail and business users.
Businesses can send and receive onchain payments to vendors, contractors, and employees across borders at lower costs and near-instant speeds.
The payments suite includes vendor management, API integration, and tools for automating transactions and streamlining cash flow.
Coinbase Business also offers integrated portfolio management to buy, sell, and exchange digital assets directly from operating accounts.
Simplified, no-fee onboarding and reconciliation support for platforms such as QuickBooks and Xero help ensure smooth integration with existing systems.
Applications for early access are open to eligible Singapore-based companies.
The launch follows Coinbase’s participation in the Monetary Authority of Singapore’s Borderless, Liquid, Open, Online, Multi-currency (BLOOM) Initiative, where it contributes to the “Agentic Payments” workstream on programmable digital asset settlement.

“The future of B2B payments is built on faster, cheaper, and more programmable rails – and that foundation is crypto. We’ve engineered a powerful yet simple technical stack that unifies payment rails, asset management, and financial reporting into a single platform.
For Singapore’s digitally-native companies, Coinbase Business is the command center that ensures their money moves as fast as their ambition.”
said Sid Coelho-Prabhu, Head of Business, Coinbase.

“Singapore has firmly established itself as a global leader in digital innovation and a crucial hub for the future of finance in Asia. Bringing Coinbase Business here is a testament to our commitment to supporting the region’s dynamic and rapidly scaling business community.
We are excited to offer Singaporean companies the modern tools they need to achieve true economic freedom and global reach.”
said Hassan Ahmed, Country Director, Singapore.
