Allianz Partners has partnered with Travelgoogoo to bundle eSIM connectivity with selected travel insurance plans.
Eligible customers across Asia Pacific will receive access to the Travelgoogoo365 Annual Plan, which includes membership in the Travelgoogoo eSIM Travel Club.
The membership covers messaging and internet-based voice calls through WhatsApp, LINE, Telegram, WeChat, Viber and Zalo across 123 destinations without a separate data plan.
Members can also buy high-speed data at discounted rates. Allianz customers will receive a complimentary 1GB global starter pack for a limited period.
The service removes the need to swap physical SIM cards or rely on public Wi-Fi. Customers can also check usage and purchase additional data through WhatsApp.

“Today’s travelers expect a seamless, end-to-end travel experience.
Partnering with Travelgoogoo allows us to address the growing expectation for always-on connectivity, enhancing our travel insurance offering to give customers greater confidence and convenience wherever they go.”
said Vinay Surana, Managing Director for Asia Pacific, the Middle East and Africa at Allianz Partners.

Richard Bok, Founder and CEO at Travelgoogoo, said,
“At Travelgoogoo, we make global connectivity simple and accessible by removing the usual friction associated with roaming and data plans.
Through our partnership with Allianz, we’re bringing protection and connectivity together in a way that reflects how people travel today.”
The companies plan to explore further integration and additional services for travellers.
