CNBC has recognised 37 regional firms among the top Southeast Asian fintechs 2026 in its annual World’s Top Fintech Companies ranking.
The global list was compiled in partnership with market research firm Statista, which evaluated thousands of businesses on metrics such as revenue growth and technological innovation to select 500 standout firms worldwide.
The 2026 ranking features 21 returning regional winners alongside 16 first-time additions, highlighting the expansion of digital financial services across the region.
Singapore anchors Southeast Asia’s representation with 27 companies, while domestic champions from Malaysia, Vietnam, Indonesia, Thailand, the Philippines, and Myanmar secured the remaining 10 places.

Singapore
Singapore dominated the regional selection with 27 companies, reinforcing its standing as a primary global fintech hub. The city-state features 16 returning winners and 11 first-time additions across seven distinct financial categories.
Airwallex
Operating dual headquarters in San Francisco and Singapore, cross-border payments and financial infrastructure platform Airwallex retained its position in the enterprise fintech category.
Amber Group
Digital asset management and liquidity provider Amber Group secured its debut inclusion on the global list under the digital assets category.
Ant International
Headquartered in Singapore, Ant International, the international digital payments and financial services arm of Ant Group retained its ranking in the payments category.
Aspire
B2B fintech platform Aspire earned repeat recognition in enterprise fintech, providing business accounts, corporate cards, and expense management tools to startups and SMEs.
Atome
BNPL and digital consumer finance platform Atome secured a spot on the list for the first time in the payments category.
bolttech
International insurtech exchange bolttech made its debut in the insurtech category, connecting insurers, distributors, and customers on its digital distribution platform.
ChainUp
Blockchain technology and digital asset infrastructure provider ChainUp earned its first inclusion on the global list in the digital assets category.

Axiata-backed fintech platform Boost secured its first ranking in the payments category, reflecting its expansion across digital payments, merchant micro-financing, and digital banking.
Vietnam
Vietnam secured two places on the global list, with both domestic digital wallet operators earning debut recognition.
VNPay
Hanoi-headquartered digital payments company VNPay made its debut on the global list in the payments category, operating a national QR payment network across Vietnam.
Zalopay
Ho Chi Minh City-based mobile payment platform Zalopay secured a first-time ranking in the payments category, integrated directly within the Zalo messaging ecosystem.
Indonesia
Indonesia produced two entries on this year’s global list, with both companies retaining their positions as returning winners.
GoTo
Jakarta-based technology conglomerate GoTo retained its spot in payments through its GoPay digital wallet and integrated ecosystem financial services.
Qoala
Jakarta-headquartered insurtech startup Qoala retained its ranking in insurtech, distributing retail insurance products across Indonesia, Thailand, Malaysia, and Vietnam.
