Chocolate Finance is giving Singapore businesses a new way to earn returns on their spare cash.
Chocolate Business is a cash managed account that keeps funds accessible without a fixed tenure. It is not a corporate bank account or fixed deposit.
Companies can currently earn 1.5% per annum on their first S$300,000 during the qualifying period, supported by the Chocolate Top-Up Programme. Amounts above that can earn up to 1.5% per annum.
Funds can be added through FAST or PayNow with no minimum or maximum deposit requirement.
Withdrawals can be requested at any time without charges or penalties and typically take one to two business days depending on the amount.

Applicants must provide their business registration number, while directors and beneficial owners holding at least 25% must verify their identities.
Users can track their balance and daily returns through a dedicated app. Chocolate Finance says it only makes money after meeting its target return.

Walter de Oude, Founder and CEO of Chocolate Finance, said,
“Businesses often earn very little on the cash sitting in their bank accounts, and frankly, the returns can be rubbish. We think we can do better. Businesses need their cash available for payroll, suppliers and whatever comes next, but there’s no reason it should sit around earning next to nothing in the meantime. Chocolate Business lets that cash work harder while staying accessible. Business owners have been asking us for this, and to us, it just makes sense.”
The launch marks Chocolate Finance’s expansion beyond its consumer business.
The company reported approximately S$1.6 billion in assets under management and more than 150,000 customers since launching its consumer platform two years ago.
Chocolate Business will officially launch during The Business Show Asia, held on 26 and 27 August 2026 at Sands Expo and Convention Centre.
