OCBC and North East CDC will provide 165,000 free warm meals to 1,000 lower-income households over one year from September 2026.
The two organisations have committed a combined S$500,000 to Warm Meals @ North East, with support from the Ministry of Social and Family Development (MSF).
More than 3,000 residents across Tampines, Punggol and Pasir Ris-Changi are expected to benefit.
Koh Ching Ching, Head of Group Brand and Communications, OCBC, said,
“No family should have to worry about where their next warm, wholesome meal will come from. That is why partnering MSF and North East CDC to support lower-income families was a natural choice for us.

Each household will receive S$500 in meal credits
The credits cover about 165 meals and will be added progressively to beneficiaries’ accounts through a mobile app.
Households can scan a QR code to collect meals from around 30 food lockers at or near the void decks of HDB rental blocks.
Meals will generally be available from noon to 3pm for lunch and from 5pm to 8pm for dinner, subject to operational requirements.
They will be freshly prepared each day shortly before the collection periods.
The halal-certified meals will contain a balance of protein, vegetables and carbohydrates.
Options include creamy spaghetti with roasted chicken, stir-fried chicken udon, rendang chicken, tofu with mushroom sauce and rice, and teriyaki fish with rice.
The menu will rotate regularly and may be updated based on beneficiaries’ feedback.
The programme gives families another option when caregiving duties, irregular working hours or other commitments make it difficult to cook at home.
It complements assistance available through MSF programmes such as ComLink+ and ComCare.
The programme will initially operate in the three towns before expanding to more lower-income households across the North East District.
