Sapiens Technology, the Singapore company behind Agnes AI, has been named to the 2026 Forbes Asia 100 to Watch in the Enterprise Technology category.
It is one of just 15 Singapore companies recognised on this year’s list.
Agnes AI develops foundation models across text, image and video for use by developers, startups and other product teams.
In October 2025, the company reported more than two million registered users worldwide, with about half based in Southeast Asia.
The annual list recognises privately held companies and startups across Asia-Pacific, selected on factors including innovation, market fit, business model, growth and industry impact.
This year’s edition spans 100 companies across 16 countries and territories, with Singapore the second most-represented market behind only India.
For Sapiens Technology, the inclusion is external recognition of a Singapore company developing its own foundation models across text, image and video.
What Forbes highlighted
Forbes highlighted the company’s ability to train these models in-house and its progress with products including Agnes 2.5 Pro Alpha.
Sapiens Technology builds full-modality models across text, image and video, with a mission of AI parity: making frontier-grade capabilities accessible to developers and teams building real-world products.

“Being named to the Forbes Asia 100 to Watch is recognition of the team building Agnes AI and of a bet we made early: that a company outside the usual centers of AI could train its own frontier-grade models across every modality.
We are focused on turning that capability into access, so more builders across the region and beyond can put advanced AI to work.”
said Bruce Yang, Founder of Agnes AI.
The recognition adds an external signal to a year in which Agnes AI has expanded across text, image and video and grown real-world usage across its ecosystem.
