HSBC Private Bank is giving eligible clients in Singapore access to private investment opportunities including some previously reserved for institutional investors.
HSBC Access is available to ultra-high net worth and family office clients.
It covers venture capital funds, private market opportunities and direct investments including opportunities involving high-growth innovation companies.
This is the first time HSBC Private Bank clients in Singapore can access this type of opportunity since HSBC Innovation Banking launched locally.
The business entered Singapore in October 2025 with a US$1.5 billion funding pool for high-growth innovation companies.
The proposition also provides specialist insights from HSBC’s corporate, trade and innovation banking teams.
Clients can receive curated introductions to technology founders and other businesses in HSBC’s network.
HSBC Access complements Innovation Exchange, which connects the bank’s private clients with entrepreneurs and ventures across Asia.

Tommy Leung, Head of Private Bank, South Asia, HSBC, said,
“Close to two thirds of our private bank clients in Singapore are entrepreneurs, and the wealth they have created is now moving to a generation that thinks about investing differently. Founders and their families want to be close to the companies shaping the innovation economy, not one step removed from it.
HSBC Access gives them a direct route into private investment opportunities sourced from across our corporate and innovation banking network, alongside the wealth planning and succession advice that turns business success into a lasting legacy.”
Singapore is the second market to introduce HSBC Access following its initial launch in Hong Kong.
