Singapore’s Skills and Workforce Development Agency (SWDA) has rolled out more than 200 AI courses alongside new career and workforce support services.
Its SkillsFuture AI Subscription initiative offers a complimentary six-month subscription to selected premium AI tools.
An AI Ready Quiz developed with the Singapore Institute of Technology helps individuals assess their readiness and find relevant courses.
Prime Minister and Minister for Finance Lawrence Wong opened Connect by SWDA at the Lifelong Learning Institute as he launched SkillsFuture Festival 2026.
The centre combines the former Lifelong Learning Exploration Centre and Careers Connect.
It offers personalised career and training support for individuals, professional development for career practitioners and workforce advice for employers.
SWDA also launched OurWorkforce to replace the SkillsFuture for Business website.
The portal recommends training and workforce programmes based on business needs and provides digital tools to support job redesign, business transformation and AI adoption.

Dilys Boey, Chief Executive of SWDA, said,
“The formation of SWDA reflects our commitment to bring skills development, workforce transformation and employer support closer together.
Through continued partnerships, more integrated services and initiatives, we aim to help individuals make full use of the learning opportunities, build career resilience and confidence, while enabling enterprises to develop workforce capabilities.”
SkillsFuture Festival 2026 runs from 16 September to 28 October with more than 140 events across Singapore for individuals and businesses.
