Standard Chartered’s Variable Capital Company (VCC) platform surpassed US$2.6 billion in assets under management (AUM) as of June 2026, ahead of the bank’s tenth sub-fund launch.
The new Signature Select Premium Cash Reserve Fund is managed by Insight Investment, a fixed income specialist within BNY Investments, which serves as the fund’s sub-investment manager.
The fund is designed for investors seeking to preserve capital while earning returns above cash holdings.
It seeks to outperform the Secured Overnight Financing Rate (SOFR) by investing in a diversified portfolio of high-quality short-term fixed income and money market securities.
The fund offers daily liquidity and is intended for accredited and professional investors.
It will be available across Standard Chartered’s Priority, Priority Private and Private Banking segments in Hong Kong, Singapore, the UAE, Jersey, Kenya and Nigeria. Other markets are expected to follow.

Ayesha Abbas, Managing Director and Head of Affluent and Wealth Solutions, Deposits and Mortgages, EMEA & UAE at Standard Chartered, said,
“Through this launch, we are further broadening the range of differentiated solutions available to our clients across EMEA and the UAE, helping them optimise their cash holdings and build more resilient portfolios in evolving market conditions.”
Standard Chartered established its VCC platform in June 2024. It has since expanded across public and private markets, covering equities, fixed income and multi-asset strategies.
The latest launch is the bank’s fifth VCC fund introduced in 2026.
