Expensify has signed a referral agreement with Visa, allowing Visa to refer eligible clients and corporate card programmes to Expensify for expense management services.
The arrangement gives Visa clients another way to support businesses seeking expense management tools alongside their existing corporate card programmes.
Businesses can connect their eligible Visa cards to Expensify to automatically synchronise transactions, match receipts and reconcile expenses.
The platform also uses AI to categorise expenses, enforce company expense policies and set customisable spending limits.
Expensify also offers integrations with accounting and enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems.
Under the agreement, referred Visa clients can work directly with Expensify to access its expense management platform, onboarding resources and support.

“Corporate cardholders shouldn’t have to give up the points, perks, and banking relationships they’ve built just to get modern spend controls,”
said Nick Tooker, Head of Partnerships at Expensify.

“Businesses are looking for simpler ways to manage expenses while continuing to use the card programs they already rely on,”
said Edward Galvin, Vice President, North America Visa Commercial Solutions.
Galvin added that the agreement would give financial institutions and corporate card programmes another option to help businesses simplify expense management and gain greater visibility into their spending.
